Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Minister's Remarks on Building a Synagogue in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Riyadh, August 27, 2024, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation of the remarks of a minister in the Israeli occupation government calling for building a synagogue in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Kingdom affirmed its categorical rejection of these extremist and inflammatory statements. It also rejected the continuous provocations of the feelings of Muslims around the world, stressing the need to respect the historical and legal status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Saudi Arabia renewed its call for the international community to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to the humanitarian catastrophe endured by the brotherly Palestinian people. Moreover, it called for activating serious mechanisms to hold Israeli officials accountable for the ongoing violations of international laws, norms, and resolutions.
