Iraqi Prime Minister Receives Saudi Foreign Minister

Baghdad, August 22, 2024, SPA -- Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today in Baghdad Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.
The foreign minister conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the Iraqi prime minister, and their wishes for the government and people of Iraq for further progress and prosperity.
Al-Sudani sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince, and the Saudi government and people.
The two sides reviewed ties and ways to strengthen and develop them. They also discussed regional and international developments of common interest.
Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Fuad Hussein attended the meeting.
