Saudi Girls Shine at World Scout Conference in Egypt

Cairo, August 22, 2024, SPA -- The Saudi girl scouts participating in the 43rd World Scout Conference, currently held in Cairo, have made a prominent and active presence, demonstrating the competence and distinction of Saudi girls in all forums.
The Saudi girl scouts' distinguished participation was evident through their interaction in the workshops held as part of the conference, which focused on a variety of topics, including strategies, peace building, inclusion in scouting, and brand modernization. They also stood out during their participation in the international night, where they presented Saudi coffee and various traditional dishes and provided information about them.
They also had their immense contributions in the Saudi Scout Exhibition, which featured photographic displays of the Saudi Scouts' community service projects, including outstanding efforts such as serving pilgrims and environmental initiatives.
They were also actively present at the conference's general sessions, primarily those on "Leadership for Success," the World Organization of the Scout Movement's three-year planning framework, global trends, and the upcoming scouting strategy.
The 42nd World Scout Conference, which was held virtually from last August, saw the participation of the first Saudi girl scouts under the leadership of Princess Sama bint Faisal bin Abdullah, Chairwoman of the Saudi Girl Scout Committee.
