Turkey, Iran discuss housing cooepration

Turkish Minister of Public Works and Housing Mustafa Demir held talks with Iran’s Ambassador to Turkey Bahman Hosseinpour in Ankara Wednesday on broadening bilateral housing cooperation.

The two sides conferred on expansion of cooperation between both the private and public sectors not only in the two countries but also in third states.

Mustafa Demir expressed his readiness to travel to Iran in order to attend the international building industries exhibition to be held as of July 28 for four days.

Later, he offered an invitation to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Saeedi-Kia to visit Turkey and hold a joint meeting with the country’s officials.

The two reached agreement in the meeting on establishment of a special joint committee on having direct contacts between the two sides’ officials and experts.
