Iranian, South African top Olympic officials meet in France

Paris, IRNA – President of National Olympic Committee of Iran Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa has met with his South African counterpart Barry Hendricks in Paris, France, where the 2024 Olympic Games are underway.

During the meeting, the two officials reviewed various sports issues.

They also discussed strengthening relations between the Olympic Committees, holding joint training camps, and exchanging coaches.

Hendricks expressed readiness to sign agreements with the Islamic Republic as Iran has a special foothold in world sports.

The Olympic Games Paris 2024 are underway in France and will end on August 11.
