Third Meeting of 25th Chongryon Central Committee Held

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The third meeting of the 25th Central Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) took place at the Central Hall of Chongryon in Tokyo on July 19.
Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director of its Organization Department, Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director general of its General Affairs Department, Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Song Kun Hak, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director of its Education Department, So Chung On, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director of its Department for International Affairs, Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan, Ri Myong Yu, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, directors and advisers of the Chongryon Central Committee  and the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan.
Pak Ku Ho made a report on the agenda item "On proudly greeting the 70th birthday of Chongryon with the high spirit of compatriots united in patriotism and their innovative successes by comprehensively implementing the important May 28 letter of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un".
The reporter said that Chongryon would further accelerate the struggle to comprehensively implement the important letter of Kim Jong Un by sharing breath and steps with the people in the homeland who are ushering in a heyday of overall efflorescence in socialist construction and thus proudly greet the historic 70th formation anniversary of Chongryon with high patriotic enthusiasm and innovative successes.
No matter how severe the circumstances and what situation may arise, Chongryon will more dynamically advance the patriotic movement without marking time, cherishing the firm faith that it will surely emerge victorious as it is led by Kim Jong Un, and usher in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan by dint of loyalty, patriotism and single-minded unity, the reporter stressed.
Then followed speeches.
The report of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee was adopted as a decision of the Central Committee of Chongryon at the meeting.
The participants heard a report on the examination of qualifications and members of the Central Committee of Chongryon were dismissed and by-elected.
A letter to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting. -0-
