Innovations Made in Custom-built Equipment Production
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The Rakwon General Machine Enterprise in the DPRK has continued to register high results in the production of custom-built equipment after carrying out its national economic plan for the first half of the year at 130 percent.
Workers and technicians of its workshops produced hundreds of custom-built equipment including excavators to over-fulfill their plans for the first half of the year.
Employees of the Sin Pho Hyang Iron Casting Workshop made signal progress in the work to create the production capacity of hydraulic device needed for manufacturing farm machines by establishing a low-pressure casting process.
A technical team of the enterprise improved the caterpillar chain of excavator to raise the tensile strength 1.2 times while reducing the weight by 20 percent.
Workers of the Rakwon Oxygen Separator Factory, the Metal Processing Workshop and the Hydraulic Instruments Workshop are making collective innovations in the improvement of equipment and the production of parts. -0-
