His Majesty King of Bhutan Officially Welcomed

Ulaanbaatar, July 9, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is paying a State Visit to Mongolia on July 8-15, 2024.

President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj welcomed King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen of Bhutan Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck at Sukhbaatar Square. Upon a report of the Commander of the State Honor Guard, the National Anthems of the two countries were performed. After the two Heads of State paid tribute to the Nine White Banners, King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck greeted the State Honor Guard.

President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck greeted the officials who attended the welcoming ceremony, heads of diplomatic missions, and international organizations in Mongolia.  Then, the two Heads of State paid tribute to the Statue of Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan. Following the Welcoming Ceremony, King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace of Mongolia.
