Many Hectares of Land Realigned in Spring

Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Land Realignment Shock Brigade in the DPRK have realigned more than 4 700 hectares of land into standardized fields this spring.
The North Hwanghae Provincial Brigade realigned more than 1 170 hectares of land. It transformed more than 8 000 farm fields into 5 700, levees of 600-odd kilometers into 400-odd kilometers and waterways of 120-odd kilometers into 110-odd kilometers while creating 10-odd hectares of new arable land.
More than 2 330 hectares of land were realigned or restored in South Hwanghae Province.
Such progress was made in other regions of the country. -0-
