Palestinian Ambassador commends HM King's support for the Palestinian causeI
Manama, May 14 (BNA): Taha Mohammed Abdul Qader, Ambassador of Palestine to Bahrain, lauded the Kingdom's stances under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding the Palestinian cause and its firm support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is the right to establish an independent state.
He commended His Majesty's commitment to the Palestinian cause, which holds the top priority on the agenda of the upcoming Arab summit to be held in Bahrain in May.
In an interview with the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Ambassador Abdul Qader expressed the optimism of the Palestinian people and their leadership, particularly President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine, for the upcoming Arab summit in Bahrain.
They anticipate tangible outcomes that aim to promote peace, address the challenges facing the Arab region, and uphold the Palestinian cause, ensuring its central place within the Arab, Islamic, and international attention, he said.
He emphasised the significant potential for outcomes that would contribute to the Arab goal of preserving Arab gains and the aspirations of the Arab nation, while protecting the Palestinian cause from attempts to sideline it.
The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts to ensure the success of the Summit and produce favorable results for the Arab region.
He affirmed that Bahrain, given His Majesty the King's positive relationships with fellow leaders of Arab countries, is capable of hosting a successful Summit and leading joint Arab action in the next phase with excellence.
He highlighted that the Palestinian cause holds the utmost significance at this summit, which is taking place amidst exceptional circumstances.
He expressed confidence in the kingdom's ability to propose resolutions that protect Arab projects and the Palestinian cause.
Ambassador Abdul Qader noted that Bahraini diplomacy places significant emphasis on Arab-Arab relations and works tirelessly to enhance them continuously.
