Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets UNIDO official

Manama, May 13 (BNA):Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, met with Fatou Haidara, Deputy Director General and Managing Director of Global Partnerships and External Relations at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).

She is currently in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF)
The Undersecretary expressed Bahrain's appreciation for the strong cooperation with the United Nations, highlighting the kingdom's pride in working with the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office to organize the WEIF.

The forum is held under the title “Achieving the SDGs through Fostering Innovation and Economic Growth”, and it coincides with the 33rd Arab Summit in Bahrain.

Haidara expressed her appreciation towards Bahrain’s efforts in organising the forum, in cooperation with UNIDO to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment in achieving sustainable development goals. She wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
