Finance and National Economy Minister meets Lebanese counterpart

Manama, May 11 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Amin Salam, the Minister of Economy, and Trade of Lebanon, on the sidelines of the preparatory  meetings of the Arab League's Economic and Social Council ahead of the 33rd Arab Summit to be held in Bahrain. 

Shaikh Salman reviewed the relations and cooperation between Bahrain and Lebanon, highlighting their development across various domains, including in the financial, economic, and commercial sectors. He emphasised the importance of continuing to work to develop these relations and push them towards further cooperation and joint coordination for the benefit of both countries. 

Furthermore, the minister stressed the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support all efforts to successfully host the 33rd Arab Summit. 

For his part, Minister Salam commended the efforts of Bahrain in hosting the 33rd Arab Summit,  and supporting joint Arab action towards greater integration at various levels.
