Iranian boxers bag 3 medals in Bishkek tournament

TEHRAN, Apr. 23 (MNA) – Iranian athletes won three medals at the International Boxing Tournament in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Iranian boxers won three medals, including two silver and one bronze medal, in a recent sporting event.

Meisam Gheshlaghi (80 kg) and Ali Fathi (92 kg) each received silver medals, while Rouzbeh Safari, another Iranian boxer, gained a bronze medal in the weight category of +92 kg.

The national boxing team of Iran is getting ready for the 2024 Olympic qualification games, which will take place in Thailand.

The Bishkek International Boxing Tournament was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from April 18-22, 2024.
