Iranian woman wins BIWFF in Lebanon

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian director Sahra Assadollahi has won the best actress award from the Beirut International Women Film Festival (BIWFF) in Lebanon.

The Iranian actress and director won the award for playing in her short film “Spasm”.

BIWFF whose closing ceremony was held in the Lebanese capital on April 19 is among the important festivals related to women worldwide.

Assadollahi has attended several international festivals. At the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Fest, she was a nominee for the best actress.
