Saudi Non-Oil Manufacturing Industries register growth by 5.4%
Riyadh, June 27, SPA -- Saudi non-oil manufacturing industries
registered a growth rate of 5.4% and non-oil commodities exports
fetched an amount of SR115 billion in the year 2008.
In its annual report for 2008, The Saudi Industrial Development Fund
showed that these exports of non-oil commodities showed a hike of 10
percent in the year under-review in comparison with the previous year
(2007), noting that the industrial sector has greatly contributed to
Saudi non-oil commodity exports.
