Iran to host int’l Beach Tennis for first time

Tehran, IRNA – The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has approved Iran’s hosting of the international beach tennis (BT) tournament for both men and women, marking the first time such an event will take place in the country.

The participating teams consist of 29 men’s teams and 15 women’s teams.

The tournament’s first round will be held in two sessions: April 25th to 28th, and April 29th to May 2nd.

The Southern Iranian island of Kish, located in the Persian Gulf, will serve as the host venue for this exciting sports event.
