The President Affirms Iraq's Support For Establishing Security And Stability And Bringing Peace To Syria

Baghdad / NINA / -The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed Iraq’s support for establishing security and stability and bringing peace to Syria.

The presidency stated in a statement, “Today, Rashid received the Syrian Ambassador, Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, and discussed with him the importance of consolidating relations between the two countries and expanding joint cooperation in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two brotherly peoples.”

Rashid stressed, “Iraq’s support for establishing security and stability and bringing peace to Syria in a way that fulfills the Syrian people’s aspirations and hopes for well-being and prosperity, the necessity of stopping the aggression against Gaza, and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.”/End
