HH National Guard Commander meets Pakistan Chief of Army Staff

Islamabad, Mar. 16 (BNA): General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, held a meeting with General Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, at the General Headquarters of the Pakistani Army in Rawalpindi.

General Asim Munir welcomed HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa, expressing thanks to him for accepting his invitation to participate in Pakistan Day.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa affirmed the advanced level reached by relations between the National Guard and the Pakistani Army, regarding cooperation and exchange of expertise, stressing keenness to continue bolstering bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance military cooperation and coordination between the National Guard and the Pakistan Army in all fields. They also reviewed regional and global issues of mutual interest.

HH National Guard Commander is on an official visit to Pakistan to participate in the Pakistan Day celebrations on March 23.
