Syrian-Saudi discussions to bolster bilateral relations
Riyadh-SANA – Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Faysal Mikdad discussed Thursday with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries and the aspects of their improvement and the developments of the situations in the region.
Mikdad stressed the importance of coordination and consultation to contribute to strengthening joint Arab action and cooperation to find solutions to the challenges facing our region, especially in Gaza and rest of the Occupied Palestinian territories, whose people are facing genocide, a suffocating blockade, starvation and mass displacement by the “Israeli” occupation entity.
The two ministers also discussed Syria’s efforts to follow up the work of the Arab Liaison Committee on Syria and the good preparation for the next meeting of the Liaison Committee to be held in Baghdad.
Mikdad and the accompanying delegation arrived earlier today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on a working visit.
