Azerbaijan Celebrates Its National Day at Expo 2023 Doha

Doha, February 22 (QNA) - The Azerbaijan pavilion at the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha hosted Thursday a celebration for the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event began with the official flag-raising ceremony, followed by a wonderful array of cultural and entertainment activities and performances.
The celebration was attended by HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and High Commissioner of Azerbaijan's Expo 2023 Pavilion Anar Alakbarov, HE Minister of State and President of the Qatar National Library Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, HE Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli, HE Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nazarbekov Ozodbek Akhmadovich, HE Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General, Ambassador Bader bin Omar Al Dafa, and Secretary-General of Expo 2023 Doha Mohammed Al Khouri.
Following the ceremony, HE the Minister of Culture, along with the attendees, toured the Azerbaijani pavilion at the Expo 2023 Doha to explore its cultural landmarks, Azerbaijani traditions, and distinctive features.
The Ministry of Culture is hosting the Azerbaijani Cultural Week at various venues, including the Qatar National Library, Expo House, and the Al Jasrah Cultural Club, as part of the cultural cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan. (QNA)
