Doha, January 29 (QNA) - Following the Jordan's win over Iraq 3-2 in the match played Monday, coach of Jordan team Hussein Ammouta alluded the qualification for the quarter finals in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 to high morals and intense focus of the players during Iraq match. Speaking at a press conference following the match, Ammouta confirmed that the clash was good as Iraq performed well, but Jordan succeeded in returning in the suitable time by virtue of the players' intense focus and maintaining the mental balance during the meet. The trust and belief in the team's principles were the key factor of winning over Iraq, he highlighted, adding that the upcoming match against Tajikistan will be powerful, because Jordan faced them before in a game that ended with a draw.
