AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Qatar Coach Confirms Capability of Reaching  Quarter Final

Doha, January 28 (QNA) - Qatar Team coach Bartolome Marquez Lopez said he is highly confident his team will perform well during Palestine match at Al Bayt Stadium within the round of 16 contests. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the clash, Lopez added that the game will be difficult, as Qatar primarily aim to achieve victory and move to the next stage, expressing his happiness for succeeding in the group stage after Qatar appeared well during the three matches. He affirmed that his team are aware of the strengths of Palestine and playing traits, since the latter play with great brevity, adding that Qatar will consider these traits to avoid mistakes. Mistakes are forbidden in the knock-out stages; therefore, the appropriate line-up will be selected as per game conditions and the behavior of the competitor, Lopez noted. The striker of the Qatari team Almoez Ali expressed his confidence in his team's performance to appear well in Monday's clash with Palestine, adding that the preparations made were very good to ensure the qualification for the quarter finals. He stressed that his team should play with pressure and great efforts, expecting huge crowds of fans who will be present in this game. Almoez Ali affirmed that he is not looking for the title of the historic striker since the team are working in one group to achieve triumphs and please the crowds. (QNA)
