Doha, January 27 (QNA) - Tajikistan national team coach Peter Siegart confirmed that his team are fully ready to meet UAE Sunday at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium within the round of 16. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match, Siegart said the Tajik team will perform well in the clash like the match played in the group stage, noting that the huge crowds of UAE fans will never dissuade his team from presenting best performance in the game. The team made great efforts in the opener which helped them qualify for this challenging stage, but they will spare no efforts to achieve the goal and move forward to victory, Siegart emphasized, adding that the group stage was successful and stellar, and the team dream of advancement in the tournament to achieve that objective. Siegart hailed the abilities of his players, calling them champions, because they made immeasurable efforts with strong results, highlighting that UAE are a powerful team and have numerous deft footballers, along with a good coach, but this will not prevent Tajikistan from doing the best. Tajik players are going to take advantage of all chances before them during the game and make utmost efforts accordingly, as things might possibly be culminated in penalty shootout to determine the winner, Siegart confirmed, adding that injuries might be a considerable hitch for Tajikistan, but things will be handled seriously, since there are some injuries among some UAE players, making chances equal for the two teams to achieve victory. The UAE are the strongest and best on paper, Siegart acknowledged, adding that his team have equal luckiness with the knock-out stage teams and tomorrow's clash will be momentous for Tajikistan. Tajikistan's player Zoir Dzhuraboyev said he is optimistic about victory, pointing out that his team will perform well since the great support from the crowds gave the team a massive confidence to achieve this historic qualification, affirming that after the qualification for the round of 16 his team will do the best to thrill their fans and attain the quarter finals.
