AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Malaysia's Coach Satisfied Despite Leaving Tournament

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - Malaysia national football team coach Kim Pan-gon expressed his happiness to achieve a draw with his South Korean counterpart 3-3 at Al Janoub Stadium in the third and final round of Group E matches of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. 
       Pan-gon confirmed at the post-match press conference that the players pledged to provide a better technical level against South Korea, one of the leading candidates to win the tournament title, and they succeeded in doing so and performed well despite exiting the group stage, noting that after this level the Malaysians should be proud of their team.
       He said that his team faced a strong and experienced team that included high-caliber professionals, therefore they changed their playing strategy more than once during the course of the match.
       The Malaysian national team coach called on those in charge of sports in Malaysia to support this team to develop and prepare for the upcoming competitions. (QNA)
