National Security Advisor: Iraq's Relations With Neighboring Countries Are Balanced

Baghdad / NINA / -National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed that Iraq's relations with neighboring countries are balanced.

The Chancellery stated in a statement: “Al-Araji met in his office today with the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Christiana Homann, and reviewed with her the historical relations between Iraq and Germany, in addition to discussing strengthening joint cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, exchanging information, and humanitarian issues.

Al-Araji pointed out that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide of unarmed civilians who are being bombed daily, indicating that there is no solution to the Palestine issue without an independent Palestinian state.

Al-Araji stressed that Iraq's relations with neighboring countries are balanced, reiterating Iraq's keenness to solve all problems through dialogue and diplomacy, pointing out that the security situation in Iraq has improved greatly.

For her part, the German Ambassador affirmed her country’s continued cooperation and partnership with Iraq in the field of combating terrorism and exchanging information./End
