AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Iraq's Player Jasim Hoping to Go Far in Tournament 

Doha, January 24 (QNA) -  The Iraqi national team star, Ali Jasim, expressed his happiness with his country’s victory over Vietnam Wednesday, and expressed his satisfaction with the good level shown by the players in Group D matches of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. 
   Jasim confirmed in a statement after the match that he was proud of this system and the great work of his team in the last stage of the tournament.
   He added they deserved this qualification with full marks, and this gives them a historic opportunity to go far in the tournament. This level strengthens their confidence in their technical capabilities and the high fighting spirit of the team members, with the aim of achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi fans.
   He concluded by indicating that they are moving steadily from one match to another, thanking the fans for their continued support in the tournament.
   The Iraqi team finished the group stage by topping Group D with full points after their victory today over Vietnam 3-2. (QNA)
