Vodafone's Profits Rise 7.5%, Lesha Bank's Profits 25.1% in 2023

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - The net profits of Vodafone Qatar increased by 7.5 percent in 2023 to reach QR 540,044,000, compared to QR 502,380,000 in 2022.
   According to the company's statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website Wednesday, the Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.128 as of December 31, 2023 versus EPS QR 0.119 for the same period in 2022.
   The Board of Directors has recommended the distribution of a cash dividend of 11% of the nominal share value, i.e. QR 0.11 per share for approval at the Company's Annual General Assembly meeting.
   Meanwhile, the net profits of Lesha Bank jumped by 25.1 percent in 2023 to reach QR 94,388,000, compared to QR 75,470,000 in 2022.
   The bank's data published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website Wednesday said the Earnings per share(EPS) amounted to QR 0.084 as of December 31, 2023 versus EPS QR 0.078 for the same period in 2022. The Board of Directors suggested not to distribute profit. (QNA)
