President of ACTA Meets Director of Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - HE President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad met Wednesday with HE Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akmal Burkhanov and his accompanying delegation who are visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed a range of topics in anti-corruption field and ways to reinforce cooperation and activate the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two sides with respect to organizing joint training courses, seminars, and conferences to promote employees' capabilities, in addition to sharing expertise, information, laws, educational evidence and methodological guides on the prevention and combating corruption.
In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE President of ACTA emphasized that the relationships between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan are robust, noting the two nations' keenness to enhance cooperation in anti-corruption field, especially that Qatar and Uzbekistan have advanced experience in fighting corruption.
In his remarks to QNA, HE Akmal Burkhanov noted the MoU signed between ACTA and the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan to reinforce cooperation between the two sides in anti-corruption field. (QNA)
