Real Estate Regulatory Authority Chairman Meets with Saudi Counterpart

Riyadh, January 24 (QNA) - HE Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Khalid Ahmed Saleh Ahmed Al Obaidli, met Wednesday with HE CEO of the General Real Estate Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al Hammad, on the sidelines of HE's participation in the work of the third edition of the Future of Real Estate Forum, which concluded its work Wednesday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the theme, "The Power of Flexibility... Building a Sustainable and Prosperous Real Estate Future."
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in areas of common interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
HE Khalid Ahmed Saleh Ahmed Al Obaidli learned about the regulations of the General Real Estate Authority in Saudi Arabia, the legislation of off-plan sales, the experience of off-plan sales during the past 15 years in the Kingdom, and the experience of residential projects with 70 percent of Saudi citizens owning the first residence.
His Excellency praised the advanced services provided by the Kingdom to the citizens in the field of housing and finance, and its experience in the real estate field.
For his part, HE CEO of the General Real Estate Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of enhancing joint work between the two sides in the field of construction technology and real estate development. (QNA)
