AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Oman's Coach Eyes Winning, Passing to Next Round

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - Oman's coach Branko Ivankovic has confirmed that his players are well prepared for tomorrow's match against Kyrgyzstan in the final round of Group F of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, stressing the Omani's desire to win to reach the second stage of the tournament.
    In the match's press conference, Ivankovic said that Thursday's match is decisive to qualify for the second round of the competition, adding that his players will strive to win and qualify for the round of 16. 
       He pointed out that he knows his opponent well, given that the two teams faced each other on two previous occasions, stressing that the goal of the Omani team, since the start of the tournament, is to qualify for the next stage, without currently caring who they will meet in the next round.
       For his part, Faiz Al Rushaidi, the Omani national team's goalkeeper, revealed during the press conference that all players are ready to play tomorrow's decisive match, which requires focus and the support of the Omani fans.
       On the other hand, the coach of the Kyrgyz national team, Stefan Tarkovich, during the press conference, confirmed that his team hopes to win against Oman in Thursday's match, believing they still have chance to qualify and will hold on to their luck until the end. (QNA)
