Uzbek Prosecutor General Reviews Qatari Legal Experience

Doha, January 23 (QNA) - HE Minister of Justice, and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa Al Hassan Al Mohannadi met Tuesday with HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nigmatilla Yuldashev who is visiting the country. During the meeting, the two sides discussed legal cooperation fields between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with ways to reinforce them and activate the cooperation agreement in legal area between the governments of the two nations. Following the meeting, HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Legal and Judicial Studies Center at the Ministry of Justice to internalize the Qatari legal experience, along with the role the center plays in training and legal and judicial rehabilitation. During the visit, the delegation was apprised of the legal experience of the Ministry of Justice, as well as the rehabilitation and training organized by the center for all legal segments that primarily target all legal professionals in miniseries, governmental institutions, and other entities. The center also targets Judges, assistant judges, prosecutors, assistant prosecutors, lawyers in training, judicial officers, experts, real estate brokers, as well as other legal categories according to the training needs of governmental and non-governmental agencies in the country. The delegation listened to a presentation made by Director of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice, Dr. Saleh Ali Al Fadala on the center's activities and its scope of work in legal and judiciary training and legal awareness. HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan lauded the Qatari legal experience and the role played by the Legal and Judicial Studies Center at the Ministry of Justice, hoping that we will capitalize on this experience to bolster legal cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Qatar.
