Minister of Labor Chairs Meeting of National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking

Doha, January 23 (QNA) - HE Minister of Labor and Chairman of National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri chaired on Tuesday the committee's first periodic meeting for 2024.
    The meeting focused on developing an action strategy to enhance the committee's initiatives in addressing human trafficking throughout 2024. Several proposals were examined to improve protective measures and support for victims of human trafficking, to reinforce the NCCH's engagement in addressing this issue, and to increase collaboration with relevant authorities and organizations, thereby strengthening the protection and assistance provided to victims of human trafficking.
