AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Japan Coach Looking for Win over Indonesia Tomorrow

Doha, January 23 (QNA) - Japan coach Hajime Moriyasu expressed optimism about achieving victory against Indonesia in Wednesday's clash at Al Thumama Stadium in the third round of Group D of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
    At the pre-match press conference today, the coach noted that the players will play the match in a state of high concentration and will be looking forward to winning the match.
    Moriyasu stressed that the atmosphere of the Japanese team is positive and that the tournament is progressing in the right way, underscoring the role played by the State of Qatar in creating a positive atmosphere for all teams to present their best advanced technical level in light of the presence of high-quality stadiums and accommodation.
    Touching on Japan's preparations, the coach said that they came to Qatar to play seven matches and that they trained well, adding that he will ask the medical team to update him on all players. He expected the team's high level of readiness for tomorrow's match, indicating that they must enter it with the required focus and work to win and play quietly, especially in the first minutes.
    Moriyasu added that he was trying to manage by listening to the viewpoints of the players and the rest of the technical staff, and that he was very open to make decisions on this basis. (QNA)
