QNA Director-General Meets Kyrgyz Minister of Culture and Information

Doha, January 23 (QNA) -  HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi met today with HE Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov, who is visiting the country.
    At the start of the meeting, HE Director-General of QNA Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi welcomed HE the Kyrgyz Minister and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in Qatar and praising the level of bilateral relations in various fields.
    HE the Director-General stressed the need to forge cooperation between QNA and the Kyrgyz National News Agency (Kabar) through the exchange of expertise, news, multimedia, field trips, and editorial skills training, highlighting the importance of making use of new media technologies, especially in Artificial Intelligence and social media platforms. 
    In turn, HE the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed his happiness at visiting the State of Qatar, praising the country's development in different fields.
    In this context, His Excellency also commended the well-organized Expo 2023 Doha, a reflection of the State of Qatar's accumulated experience in hosting major international events and exhibitions. He expressed the Kyrgyz Republic's keenness to further develop its relations with the State of Qatar in various fields.
    The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation, especially in media affairs and the exchange of expertise in training domain. 
    In a presentation during the meeting, HE the Kyrgyz Minister was briefed on the great development in QNA, particularly on the technological aspect. (QNA)
