Doha, January 22 (QNA) - Coach of the Qatari national team, Marquez Lopez expressed his happiness at achieving the third consecutive win after beating China 1-0 on Monday at Khalifa International Stadium in Group A's third round of matches of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. In a post-match press conference, Lopez said he is proud of what the team did in the match and that all the players played excellently and put in great effort. He praised Hassan Al Haydos and the goal he scored, describing it as the best goal of the tournament so far. He added that the third win in a row makes the team proceed steadily to the next round of the tournament. Regardless of the team they face, the Qatari team will work according to its strategy and work to utilize the players' abilities. Many players played in the match against China that were not present in the previous two matches, which had great outcomes.
