AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Iran Coach Hopes to Win Tuesday's Match against UAE

Doha, January 22 (QNA) - Iran coach Amir Ghalenoei affirmed his country's national team's readiness to face UAE tomorrow in the third round of Group C of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 to decide the group's leaders.
    At the pre-match press conference, Ghalenoei said that his team plays every match in the tournament as a final match, describing the UAE team as a "fierce competitor" and one of the good and strong teams defensively.
    Our goal is to compete for the title despite some technical problems facing the team which appeared during the Hong Kong and Palestine matches, he said, stressing that he will work to develop the performance and choose the elements of strength and readiness to match the strength of the competitor. He pointed out that he will continue achieving positive results and making the Iranian fans happy that have been always supporting the team in the continental championship. (QNA)
