Qatar Participates in 9th Meeting of Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Finance in the Arab Countries

Abu Dhabi, January 22 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 9th meeting of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries of the ministries of finance in the Arab countries. The tow-day meeting is held by the Arab Monetary Fund in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
    The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai. Experts from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development also participated in the meeting.
    The meeting's agenda features several topics of importance to Arab countries, including the green economy and the transition to clean and renewable energies, the interaction between fiscal and monetary policies, and the impact on economic performance, in addition to the experiences of Arab countries in terms of strengthening social security networks, and preparing for the meeting of the council of finance ministers in Arab countries.
