UN Secretary General Praises Efforts of Qatar, France to Reach an Agreement for Entering Aid to Gaza

New York, January 19 (QNA) - HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, praised the efforts of the State of Qatar and the French Republic in reaching an agreement between Israel and Hamas to bring medicines and aid into Gaza.
His Excellency stated that the entry of these vital supplies and humanitarian aid is encouraging, indicating that there is a need for more aid to enter the sector.
The UN Secretary-General urged all relevant actors to ensure the arrival of adequate humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, expressing his concern about the escalating tensions in the region, calling for an urgent halt to the escalation. (QNA)
