MOI's Officials Affirm Police College Keenness to Qualify and Train Students in Accordance with Latest International Standards

 

Doha, January 18 (QNA) - A number of officials at the Ministry of Interior affirmed the keenness of the Police College, ever since its inception, to qualify its students in various academic, training and applied tracks in accordance with the latest international standards, as the college makes great efforts towards its students to form an excellent addition to the police and security services.
    HE Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and the General Supervisor of the Police Academy, Major General Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal stated that they are proud to graduate the sixth batch of cadets nominated for the Police College to be a new edition to the Ministry of Interior and become officers distinguished by education and knowledge after being trained at the college where they acquired modern security skills. There is confidence that the graduates will hold their responsibilities and conduct their work with competence and professionalism.
    His Excellency explained that despite the Police Academy being recently established, it has witnessed development in all academic, training and applied tracks according to high-level standards, which has made it one of the most rapidly progressed and distinguished police academies in the region. It is taking steady steps towards contributing to the stability of the country and will be an example for generations to follow with the same determination that will be distinguished with science and knowledge as well as the ability to bear responsibility with a strong will and unwavering determination. They will spare no efforts to ensure that the State of Qatar remains in its high position.
    President of the Police Academy, Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti said that as they celebrate the graduation of the sixth batch, they are moving ahead in all determination towards achieving the goals of the academy to prepare qualified and scientifically and practically trained cadres in the legal and security fields that the Ministry of Interior requires in order to keep pace with the challenges and turning points that security institutions around the world are facing and to raise the sense of security in a way that serves the reality of security work.
    Brigadier General Al Sulaiti expressed his hope that the graduates will be a qualitative addition to the police and security services and dedicate themselves to serving their country in a way that will be reflected in their knowledge, morals and work in the field as they join who came before them in serving the state and its wise leadership.
    Vice-President of the Police Academy and Director of the Police College, Lieutenant Colonel Fahd Saeed Abdullah Al Subaie said that ten years after the establishment of the Police College, they are now celebrating the graduation of the sixth batch to join the path of serving the State of Qatar. The batch studied during their four-year duration at the college theoretical, applied and practical academic subjects, military and sports training, as well as advanced specialized courses, all according to the latest modern training methods that help face challenges and bear the responsibility of preserving the security of the state.
    Lieutenant Colonel Al Subaie also stated that the Police College continues, through its academic, training and administrative cadres, to work to achieve the strategy of the Ministry of Interior to develop the skills and capabilities of the human element by building an educational system that keeps pace with current international standards. This system provides opportunities for students to develop their capabilities and provides them with the best types of advanced field training so that they can succeed when assuming their responsibilities in a world where maintaining security and safety constitutes a real challenge, especially in light of the spread of new and previously unknown forms of crime.
