Greek Ambassador In Baghdad Visits The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate And Praises Its Efforts And Its Effective Role Locally And Internationally

Baghdad / NINA /- The Greek Ambassador to Baghdad, Georgios Almanos, visited the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate today, Wednesday, and was received by the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, President of the Arab Journalists Federation, Muayyad Al-Lami, who welcomed the ambassador’s visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate.

The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate said in a statement, " Al-Lami provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the Syndicate’s work, its continuous communication with media institutions in Iraq, and its distinguished relations with relevant unions worldwide."

For his part, the Greek ambassador in Baghdad expressed the desire for media cooperation between the Journalists Syndicate and its counterpart, the Greek Journalists Syndicate, and the possibility of holding an international media conference in Baghdad in the presence of journalists from various European countries, including Greece, to convey the true picture of the situation in Iraq, stressing the state of security and political stability that is currently being witnessed in Iraq.

The Greek ambassador toured the corridors of the syndicate, expressing his admiration for its building and the professional and administrative work carried out by the syndicate./End
