Katara Inaugurates Exhibitions Showcasing Creative Designs of Qatari Females, Asia People Artworks

 
Doha, January 15 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation- Katara on Monday opened two art exhibitions highlighting the diverse and prolific artworks of Asia people. Katara also opened an exhibition of 12 Qatari female designers within its AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 accompanying programme. The Katara international exhibition for Asia people brings together 57 artists with over 80 artworks at building 45. The artworks epitomize the beauty of Asia, as well as its geographical and cultural diversity. The exhibition represents a gateway to different worlds that express the rich history, identity, and traditions of those cultures. The exhibition of the Qatari female designers at building 46 in Katara displays a variety of artworks in design and embroidery created by 12 Qatari female designers which shed the light on the aesthetics of this artwork. General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti hailed the premium level of stellar innovations in the world of fashion presented by the Qatari female designers, alongside the innovators participating in the Asia people exhibition. Art is the common language among all, and events in Katara embodied the diversity of Asian cultures and showcased them from diverse angles that would reinforce the methods of dialogue and convergence among spectrums of nationalities and cultures, Al Sulaiti said.
