Qatar Football Association Takes Part in 7th Meeting of WAFF Finance Committee

Doha, January 15 (QNA) - In his capacity as a member of the committee, Secretary-General of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Mansoor Mohammed Al Ansari participated in the 7th meeting of the finance committee of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) that was held in Doha. The meeting was also attended by Ali Al Ajmi (Sultanate of Oman), Abdullah Kabuha (Saudi Arabia), and the Secretary-General of the WAFF Khalil Al Salem. The committee approved the minutes of its last meeting and reviewed the latest developments in the support provided by the Asian and international federations, in addition to discussing a number of financial matters related to hosting agreements for the WAFF championships in terms of their financial costs and fines imposed due to withdrawal from participation or hosting. It approved the proposed budget for the year 2024 and discussed the policies and procedures followed in the WAFF's financial system. The members of the committee expressed their absolute support for all plans that ensure the WAFF's continues to carry out its roles. (QNA)
