AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Kyrgyz Coach Terms Tuesday's Match against Thailand as Difficult

Doha, January 15 (QNA) - Coach of the Kyrgyz football team Stefan Tarkovic said that his team's match against Thailand on Tuesday is a difficult challenge against a strong competitor. The match is within Group F competitions of the ongoing AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
At a pre-match press conference today, Tarkovic said that the Kyrgyz team will play their matches with great enthusiasm to achieve victory and qualify for the second round, expressing his happiness at participating in the Asian Cup in the State of Qatar, which had successfully hosted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He added that preparations for the tournament began on December 7, with the team completing their preparations well and they are ready to play their match tomorrow.
Regarding Kyrgyzstan's Group, Coach Tarkovic pointed to difficulty in facing strong teams such as the Omani team and the Saudi team. These matches will be a great challenge for the players but will give them the opportunity to prove their abilities, he stressed.
Tamirlan Kozubaev, player of the Kyrgyz team, pointed out that there is no easy match in this tournament as all matches are difficult, and stressed that the team's goal is to qualify for the next round.
He added that the Kyrgyz team had prepared well for the tournament and that the team's final preparations began more than 40 days before the start of the competitions, underscoring that their main goal is to achieve victory in the upcoming match tomorrow against the Thai team and to perform better than the last edition in 2019 in the UAE.
Kyrgyzstan is participating in the finals for the second time and coach Stefan Tarkovic aspires to attain a similar achievement in 2019 by qualifying for the round of 16. (QNA)
