AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Thailand's Coach Acknowledges Kyrgyzstan's Strength and Stresses Desire to Win 

Doha, January 15 (QNA) - Japanese Masatada Ishii, coach of the Thai football team, confirmed that the team prepared well for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. The team's first games begins Tuesday against the Kyrgyz team in Group F and seek to achieve a victory at the beginning of their campaign in the tournament.
   At the press conference held today at the tournament's main media center, coach Ishii pointed out that Thailand will strive to perform well in the match against a strong Kyrgyzstan team, in a group that includes well developed teams.
   Expecting a tough match for both sides, he clarified that he analyzed the way the Kyrgyz national team played, which is characterized by speed and includes good players.
   Thai team player Theerathon Bunmathan confirmed that he and his teammates prepared well for the tournament and came to Qatar well before the kick off of the competitions.
   He explained that their goal is to perform well and reach advanced stages in the tournament, and that they have great confidence in themselves to do this.
   In the last edition in 2019 in the United Arab Emirates, the Thai team achieved its best result since 1972, as it qualified for the round of 16. (QNA)
