AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Palestine Coach: Loss is Due to Lack of Focus, Team Still Has Chance of Qualifying

Doha, January 14 (QNA) - The Palestinian national team coach Makram Daboub expressed his disappointment over his team's loss to Iran (1-4) in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
Daboub stated after the match that the start of the game was difficult for the players after they received an early goal which threw the players off.
The team aims to correct its mistakes in the next two matches of the group stage. The next match against the United Arab Emirates is crucial to determine the Palestinian team's chances of qualifying, said Daboub.
Team Palestine's coach added that his team played against a strong team that is a contender to win the title and blamed the lack of focus for the loss.
He thanked all the fans who were present in large numbers at the match to support the team and hopes that the support would continue in the rest of the team's journey in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
The Palestinian team has a good line of players and can do their best in the next two matches to qualify for the next round, Daboub affirmed. (QNA)
