QRCS Partners with YRCS to Support Food Security Among Vulnerable Families in Yemen

Doha, January 14 (QNA) - In partnership with the Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS), the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched a food distribution project to meet the basic food needs of 19,530 people in Dhale, Al-Bayda, and Dhamar Governorates, at a total cost of USD626,262.
The project is aimed at ensuring food security for 2,790 vulnerable families, by distributing 8,370 three-month food parcels, QRCS said in a statement.
Director of Damt District, Dhale, Abdel-Wasie Saleh Hamad underscored the importance of the project, adding that it will have a vital role in strengthening the food security of the recipients, extending his thanks to QRCS. (QNA)
