AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023: Japanese Coach Aspires to Strong Start in Vietnam Match to Achieve Victory

Doha, January 13 (QNA) - Japanese football Coach Hajime Moriyasu emphasized his aspiration to strongly emerge at the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 when his team confront the Vietnamese counterpart Sunday at Al Thumama Stadium within Group D.
Moriyasu said he is determined to have his team crowned with the championship title, adding that achieving that goal hinges on upgrading the levels of the footballers from one match to another and making the utmost efforts.
The Japanese team are well prepared after playing the friendly and have the opportunity, according to the set list, to compete in the matches, Moriyasu pointed out, affirming that he is analyzing the performance of footballers to choose the best group for each game.
Moriyasu said he is aware of the details about the Vietnamese team, and reciprocally the Vietnamese coach knows the Japanese football very well and of course he might have analyzed the Japanese performance, who will then request the Japanese to beware of the rapid attacks, stressing that the Japanese will take advantage of any chance before them.
For his part, Japanese footballer Wataru Endo said his players look forward to achieving a strong start in Vietnam match to perfectly initiate contest through winning the first match.
Speaking at a press conference, Endo said his team optimally operates to ensure winning the championship, adding that they do their best to achieve that objective to please the fans. (QNA)
