AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023: Australia's Coach Aims to Clinch Title

Doha, January 12 (QNA) - Graham Arnold, the coach of the Australian national team, emphasized the significance of Saturday's match against India in the opening round of the group stage at the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. This marks Australia's first match in the continental championship.
During the press conference on Friday, Arnold said that facing India won't be easy; they have players of a good standard. He added that his team aims to deliver a strong performance, especially considering their good preparations for the tournament.
Arnold confirmed that the Australian squad is complete, with no absences, highlighting this as a positive factor that enhances their chances ahead of the first match. He reiterated that their primary goal in this edition of the Asian Cup is to clinch the title.
Expressing his happiness to be in Qatar again, Arnold, who participated with his team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, said that they are familiar with outstanding stadiums and facilities in Qatar, looking forward to showcasing the best during the Asian Cup.
