AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023/ Kyrgyzstan Beat Vietnam in Friendly

Doha, January 09 (QNA) - The Kyrgyz national team defeated its Vietnamese national team 2-1 in a friendly match on Tuesday in Doha. The match came as part of the teams' preparations for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which kicks off Friday and continues until Feb. 10. Twenty-four teams divided into six groups will participate in this tournament. The goals of the Kyrgyz national team were scored by Joel Kojo and Ayzar Akmatov in the 31st and 74th minutes, while Vietnam's Truong Tien Anh scored in the 63rd minute. Vietnam are in Group D along with Japan, Iraq and Indonesia, while Kyrgyzstan are in Group F with Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Oman. (QNA)
