Katara Holds Two Exhibitions on Yemeni Arts, Civilization

Doha, January 04 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) held Thursday two art exhibitions to on Yemen's arts, creativity and civilization.
Katara General Manager Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti opened the art galleries that run through Jan. 9, in cooperation with the Yemeni embassy in Doha.
HE Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library, Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the State of Qatar Rajeh Hussain Farhan Badi, a number of Their Excellencies ambassadors accredited to the state, and a lot of art enthusiasts attended the inauguration.
HE the Yemeni Ambassador hailed the opening of the two exhibitions as a belief in the importance of cultural interaction and its role in building bridges of communication among peoples, strengthening their relations and consolidating the values of love, coexistence and dialogue.
His Excellency thanked Katara for its constant keenness to highlight culture and art in Yemen, through its continuous support and hosting of Yemeni artistic and cultural events. (QNA)
